10 days to D-Day!

The bear pictures were requested by my good buddy John David, I hope you enjoy them. They were taken in Ketchikan, AK along a nature walk in the rain forest. There was actually two black bears in this creek when we were there and they were feeding on salmon. It was really cool watching them catch the fish. (see below)

As we draw ever closer to Departure Day (D-Day as Kevin calls it) we are working feverishly to pack and get rid of everything. We are down to needing to sell the house and my car. We have had great success with craigslist.

Speaking of the house, we have someone coming to look at it tomorrow at 3:30. We had some people look at it last week for the second time. They love the house but don’t want to buy anything here in Maryville until their house sells (somewhere up northeast). We will also be having an open house on Sunday afternoon; hopefully someone will actually show up at this one. So tell anyone you know that might be looking to buy a house.

This coming weekend is the big one for Mom; she gets married at 2:00 on Saturday. She of course is very excited. It will (I am sure) be a beautiful and blessed event.
