Family Time

This weekend held lots of excitement for Teresa's side of the family. We had our Christmas celebration with Mom (Harriet), her fiance Bryant, Aunt Libby, brother Rob - wife Brandi and children Anna Cate (5 1/2) and Emma Claire (almost 4), sister Melissa - husband Bubba and children Jacey (4 1/2) and Brie (almost 3). It was a blast, but I think everyone was worn out by this afternoon. I will try to post a slide show of some of the exciting moments.

We received an e-mail from the Human Resources Director of Aramark (in Anchorage) on Friday letting us know that we should be hearing from them after the first of the year. They are taking a break over the next two weeks to celebrate the holidays.

Kevin and I hope you all have a wonderful week celebrating Christmas. We pray for safe travels for all of you that may be going out of town to visit family and friends.

A day off!

I took the day off from work on Tuesday to spend the day with three of my favorite people. My Mom - Harriet, my sister - Melissa and one of my really cool nieces - Jacey (4 1/2). We had a great day together at Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC. We did the Behind the Scences Tour in addition to the regular tour. We ate at the cafe next to the "Castle" (that's how Jacey referred to the house) for lunch/dinner. We had a "BIG DAY!" and I had to tell Uncle Kevin all about it when I got home and tell him all of our favorite things about the day. Among the favorites were, the really big tree in the banquet hall, the trumpets playing and the bedrooms. Jacey even picked out which bedroom her and her sister Brie were going to share if they ever get to live there. A great time was shared by all of us.

Nothing new on the Alaska front. We are still waiting to here back from Kevin's phone interview 3 weeks ago, they said he should hear something in 2-4 weeks.

No hits on the house yet, it went up for sale on Dec. 6 and still no showings. Of course, it will happen in God's timing (I just wish His timing was the same as mine).

We still have the Ski Boat for sale if any of you are interested. It looks like we might have a buyer for the 4-Wheeler he just has to wait until after the first of the year. However, money talks if anyone is interested in the 4-Wheeler. Just post a comment or send me an e-mail if you are interested in either.

Hope you all have a great Thursday.

Hey everybody!

I just set up this blog spot, even though I really have no idea what I am doing. I thought I would give it a whirl and see what happens. Please bare with me as I figure all this stuff out and keep checking back to what new things I add.

I will try to post things as we progress toward our plans to move north to Alaska.

Kevin and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
